Hey-I’m Kelly!
Designer by day. Photographer whenever I can get a camera in my hands. Based in Saint Paul and passionate about capturing the people, energy, and moments that make a story worth remembering.
I grew up in the small town of Staples in central Minnesota, but I’ve called Saint Paul home for more than 12 years. I graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul in 2013 with a B.A. in Graphic Design and a minor in Photography. Today, I work as an Integrated Graphic Designer at beBright, where I get to put my creative skills to work every day.
Previously, I spent more than six years as the Creative & Photography Manager for the University of Minnesota Gophers. My role gave me the opportunity to combine two things I love—design and photography—creating graphics for Gopher Athletics while photographing events, media days, game days, and even traveling with teams.
As my sports photography experience grew, I was honored to become the team photographer for PWHL Minnesota during its inaugural 2024 season. I wanted to capture more than just what happened on the ice—I wanted to document the people, emotions, and moments that told the story of such a historic first season. It couldn’t have had a better ending: Minnesota won the championship!
Since then, I’ve also had the opportunity to work as a team photographer for Minnesota Aurora FC and Twin Cities Gemini. Sports photography has become such a meaningful part of my creative work, and I love getting to connect with new people and help tell their stories through my camera.
When I’m not designing or taking photos, you can usually find me hanging out with my amazing (and incredibly handsome) husband, Jordan Lynn—aka JLynn Productions—and our Frenchie, Moose. I also love spending time with friends, going to brunch, taking “neature” walks, and attending sporting events and concerts.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom gave me my first camera when I was two years old, and I’ve pretty much been taking photos ever since. One of my favorite quotes is, “We do not remember days, we remember moments.” That has always felt especially true to me.
Whether it’s a championship, a milestone, or an ordinary moment that turns out to mean everything, I’d love the privilege of capturing a special moment or two in your life.

I’ve played golf my whole life and competed in college.
I love to cook! I get so much satisfaction out of trying new recipes.
Live music gives me life. Ben Rector, Michael Bublé, Lizzo and Bruno Mars are a few faves.
I’m OBSESSED with dogs. Tell your dog I said hi.
I have watched Gilmore Girls too many times to count.
I dream of traveling to Australia and Italy. San Diego is one of my favorite places to visit.
